I try to add a new SpotyPal device and I get the following message: “The device is already assigned to another account”.
A device can only have one owner. If it was previously used by another person, this person should first remove the device from its account. Uninstalling the SpotyPal app will not be enough. If the device hasn’t been removed from the previous owner’s account, you will not be able to add it and you will possibly get the message above.
To remove a device from an account:
Open the SpotyPal App.
Select the device you wish to remove.
Tap the three dots icon on the top right corner to open the Device settings.
Press the “Delete device” button in the bottom of the screen.
